Along The Lake

In October one afternoon I took a walk around Dow's Lake to the Arboretum, starting at the flowerbeds at the south end of Commissioners Park, with homes in the background. Tulips can be found in these flowerbeds in May for the Tulip Festival, and the rest of the growing season, other plants are here. A few days after I took these shots, these flowers were taken out and the bulbs placed for next year's tulip displays.

The fall colours in the park were pretty.

After leaving the park, I headed over to the west side of Dow's Lake, which is occupied by the Arboretum. It's actually all part of the Experimental Farm, and home to a wealth of different trees. I have more from here over the next three days.
